Hello! I’m Nadine: A Mother, social activist, and a native of the Pacific Northwest. I’m currently a student at Western Governors University working towards completing a teaching degree in K-12 Special Education and K-6 General Education. I hope to continue my education with a Masters Degree in English Language Learners (ELL).

I was presented with an opportunity to kayak in Belize with Journey for Purpose. While doing research on Belize, I found myself immersed in their educational system. I found that many schools were underfunded and lacked basic school supplies. I came across Holy Cross Anglican Primary School in San Mateo, Belize and fell in love with their story (please see video below). I decided to extend my stay in Belize and travel to San Mateo to learn more about this amazing school.

The objective of #GoNadine is to raise money for school supplies that would benefit the students of Holy Cross Anglican Primary School. 100% of the proceeds will go towards reaching this goal. The products you see are all made by Tacoma locals that have signed up to help my mission of bringing quality education from our land to theirs.
